Ekipi Centra za mlade Dom\u017eale se je v februarju pridru\u017eil prostovoljec Jordi.\u00a0<\/strong>V okviru programa Evropske solidarnostne enote bo v CZM do sredine septembra. <\/strong>\u010ce ga \u017eeli\u0161 sre\u010dati tudi v \u017eivo, bo vsak dan v Placu ter na \u0161tevilnih popoldanskih aktivnosti. V nadaljevanj si lahko preberete njegove prve vtise, v prvih 20 dneh v Sloveniji.\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. februarja 2023 sem spakiral kov\u010dke in z veliko entuziazma za\u010del \u0161esturno pot od Valencie do Ljubljane, kamor sem prispel prvi\u010d v \u017eivljenju. Naslednjih osem mesecev bom v CZM Dom\u017eale prek programa Evropske solidarnostne enote opravljal prostovoljno delo. Pomagal bom pri izvedbi programa in, upam vsaj tako, pustil svoj pe\u010dat pri delu organizacije in v lokalnem okolju.<\/p>\n

V prvih 20 dneh sem opazil, da Slovenci u\u017eivajo v spro\u0161\u010denem in po\u010dasnem \u017eivljenjskem stilu. Ti dnevi pa so bili zame vse prej kot po\u010dasni. Po toplem sprejemu s strani organizacije in predstavitvi njihovih aktivnosti, sem se zna\u0161el na \u0161olskih po\u010ditnicah, obkro\u017een s kupom energi\u010dnih otrok. Na za\u010detku sem bil nekoliko zgubljen, saj nisem vedel, kako delati z njimi. Prvi\u010d sem delal z otroki. Sledil sem zgledu sodelavk in posku\u0161al biti dostopen, kolikor se je dalo. Sku\u0161al sem se sporazumevati in igrati z njimi. Na koncu sem zadovoljen, kako je, kljub jezikovnim oviram (ne govorim slovensko), \u0161lo. Upam, da otroci \u010dutijo isto.<\/p>\n

Drugi teden v Sloveniji sem pre\u017eivel na usposabljanju ob prihodu na Debelem rti\u010du v Ankaranu. Sodeloval sem na neformalnih usposabljanjih in imel prilo\u017enost spoznati veliko prostovoljcev iz Evrope in projekte, v katere so vklju\u010deni tukaj v Sloveniji. Imel sem tudi prilo\u017enost obiskati glavna mesta ob slovenski 46-kilometrov dolgi obali: Ankaran, Koper, Izolo in Piran.<\/p>\n

Medtem ko pi\u0161em tole, \u0161e vedno predeljujem vse, kar se mi je zgodilo v zadnjih 20 dneh, delam na\u010drte za prihodnje tedne in se bolj vklju\u010dujem v delo organizacije. Vesel sem in hvale\u017een, da mi je bila dana prilo\u017enost, da lahko do\u017eivim to. Veselim se naslednjih mesecev.<\/p>\n

On the 1st of February 2023, I packed my bags and, with lots of enthusiasm, began a 6-hour journey that would take me from Valencia to Ljubljana, Slovenia, for the first time in my life. For the next eight months, I will be volunteering at CZM Dom\u017eale as part of the European Solidarity Corps, assisting with their various programs and hopefully leaving a positive mark on the organization and the community that benefits from it during my time here.<\/p>\n

During my first 20 days, I noticed that Slovenians enjoy a relaxed and slow lifestyle. However, these days have been anything but slow for me. After a warm welcome from my organization and an introduction to the center\u2019s activities, I found myself surrounded by lots of energetic children on their school holidays. I was a bit lost as to how to interact with the children as it was my first time working with them, but following the example of my colleagues here at the center, I just tried to be as accessible as possible and tried to interact and play with them as much as I could. In the end, despite the language barrier (I don\u2019t speak Slovenian), I\u2019m happy with how things went, and I hope the children feel the same.<\/p>\n

During my second week in Slovenia, I went to my arrival training in Debeli Rti\u010d, Ankaran, where I took part in some non-formal training activities and had the chance to meet many other volunteers from all over Europe and the different projects they are involved in here in Slovenia. During this week, I also had the opportunity to visit the main coastal towns along Slovenia\u2019s 46km coastline: Ankaran, Koper, Izola, and Piran.<\/p>\n

As I write this, I\u2019m still trying to process everything that has happened in the last 20 days. As I make plans for the coming weeks and get more involved in my organization, I can\u2019t help but feel very happy and fortunate to have been given the opportunity to experience this, and I look forward to all that is to come in the coming months.<\/p>\n

El 1 de Febrero de 2023 hice mis maletas y con muchas ganas e ilusi\u00f3n empec\u00e9 un viaje que me llevar\u00eda desde Valencia a Liubliana, Eslovenia, en poco m\u00e1s de 6 horas. Durante los pr\u00f3ximos 8 meses participar\u00e9 en las diferentes actividades del Centro Juvenil de Dom\u017eale (CZM Dom\u017eale) como voluntario del Cuerpo Europeo de Solidaridad, con el deseo de dejar una huella positiva en la organizaci\u00f3n y toda la comunidad que se beneficia de ella durante mi tiempo aqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Durante mis primeros 20 d\u00edas he percibido que los eslovenos siguen un estilo de vida relajado y sosegado. No obstante, por el momento mi experiencia aqu\u00ed ha sido cualquier cosa menos tranquila. Despu\u00e9s de una c\u00e1lida acogida por parte de mi organizaci\u00f3n y una introducci\u00f3n a las actividades habituales del centro, me encontr\u00e9 rodeado de un mont\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os llenos de energ\u00eda durante sus vacaciones escolares. En un primer momento me sent\u00ed bastante perdido porque no sab\u00eda c\u00f3mo interactuar con ellos, pues era mi primera vez trabajando con ni\u00f1os, pero siguiendo el ejemplo del resto del equipo del centro intent\u00e9 ser lo m\u00e1s accesible posible y participar de sus juegos y actividades. En general, a pesar de la barrera ling\u00fc\u00edstica (no hablo esloveno), me siento bastante satisfecho con la experiencia y espero que para ellos tambi\u00e9n haya sido positivo.<\/p>\n

Durante mi segunda semana en Eslovenia, particip\u00e9 en mi formaci\u00f3n a la llegada en Debeli Rti\u010d, Ankaran, donde particip\u00e9 en actividades de formaci\u00f3n no convencional para conocer m\u00e1s nuestro papel como voluntarios del cuerpo europeo de solidaridad y el pa\u00eds de acogida. Tambi\u00e9n tuve la oportunidad de conocer a los otros 15 voluntarios que hab\u00edan llegado durante los \u00faltimos meses a Eslovenia, as\u00ed como conocer las principales localidades de los 45 km. de costa eslovena: Ankaran, Koper, Izola y Pir\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

A\u00fan me encuentro en proceso de asimilar todo lo que ha ido ocurriendo a lo largo de estos 20 d\u00edas. Al mismo tiempo que sigo planificando cosas para las pr\u00f3ximas semanas y voy me involucrando mas y mas en mi organizaci\u00f3n, no puedo evitar sentirme muy contento y afortunado de haber tenido la oportunidad de vivir esta experiencia \u2013 y espero con impaciencia e ilusi\u00f3n todo lo que est\u00e1 por venir.<\/p>\n
